Defiance is ideally suited for your transcoastal logistics facility:
• Served by the CSX dual-main rail line between Chicago and the East Coast, Defiance has rail-served sites ready for transcoastal distribution facilities. The area is also served by the Maumee & Western Railroad, which connects with the CSX in Defiance. This provides us with miles of rail-served sites, some with dual access capabilities.
• The new U.S. Rt. 24 — a new four-lane, 65-mile-per-hour highway — connects Defiance to interstate highways I-75 (42 miles) and I-69 (38 miles). I-80/90 is 20 miles to the north.
• Rail and highway connect to the Port of Toledo, 55 miles away, which offers FTZ services and access to the world through the St. Lawrence Seaway.
